How do I add a New Domain?

Login to your Plesk control panel at http://yourdomain:8080/ and Under Websites and Domains click on the Add New Domain button.

Enter the domain name into the New Domain field.

Under the Hosting type select Website hosting. The other options there do not apply and should not be used.

Under the Hosting Settings section you can specify the Document root and the preferred domain.

Click OK to add the New Domain.

Note: The domain needs to point to the IP address of your hosting server before these settings will take effect. You can see the IP address of the server on the Websites & Domains page in the control panel.
