There are several plugins which will help with the speed of your blog, however we recommend the "W3 Total Cache" plugin. To activate this plugin, log into your blog's admin interface at http://yourdomain.com/wp-admin/.
- Once logged in, click on the 'Plugins' tab on the left hand side and than click on the 'Add New' button.
- Search for "W3 Total Cache" and click 'Install Now' which will download that plugin for you.
- Once iet finishes installing, you will want to click on the 'Activate Plugin' link.
Your plugin is now installed, now we will want to configure it to take advantage of it.
- Click on the 'Performance' tab on the left hand side and than 'General Settings'
- You will want to turn on the following caching:
- Page Cache: Enable (Method: Disk: Basic)
- Database Cache: Enable (Method: Disk)
- Object Cache: Enable (Method: Disk)
- Browser Cache: Enable
- Once finished, you will want to click on 'Save All Settings'
- The final step to Deploy your settings, which should be on the top center (it's a button)
