Set up domain calendar

SmarterMail allows domain administrators to create shared resources for all users of a specific domain. For example, calendars that can be used for tracking a department's vacation schedule or company holidays. In addition, this is where domain administrators set up calendar items that are used for shared conference room scheduling.

Applies to SmarterMail Enterprise 10.x - 14.x

Follow the step below to set up domain calendars

  1. Login as the domain administrator
  2. Click on Settings
  3. Expand Domain Settings and click on Shared Resources
  4. Click New
  5. Enter name of the Calendar and to make is a conference room check "Resource is conference room"
  6. Click Save
  7. Edit the new resources
  8. Click on Add Permission
  9. Assign permission to users or groups to have access to the resource.
