SmarterMail allows domain administrators to create shared resources for all users of a specific domain. For example, calendars that can be used for tracking a department's vacation schedule or company holidays. In addition, this is where domain administrators set up calendar items that are used for shared conference room scheduling.
Applies to SmarterMail Enterprise 10.x - 14.x
Follow the step below to set up domain calendars
- Login as the domain administrator
- Click on Settings
- Expand Domain Settings and click on Shared Resources
- Click New
- Enter name of the Calendar and to make is a conference room check "Resource is conference room"
- Click Save
- Edit the new resources
- Click on Add Permission
- Assign permission to users or groups to have access to the resource.
